COMPLEX ANNOUNCES FULL MUSIC LINE UP, POP UP SHOPS AND ARTIST INSTALLATIONS FOR INAUGURAL 2-DAY COMPLEXCON IN LONG BEACH, CA NOVEMBER 5TH & 6TH
Long Beach, CA (October 11, 2016) – Today Complex announced additional details on its “first ever cultural World’s Fair” ComplexCon, taking place in Long Beach, CA on Saturday, November 5th & Sunday, November 6th. Multi-platinum artist and entertainment icon Snoop Dogg has been confirmed to headline night two, along with 2Chainz and Migos.
Created for an audience of influential fans and dubbed as the “first-ever cultural World’s Fair,” ComplexCon is a celebration of everything that is COMPLEX – the ultimate festival experience complete with concerts, panels and conversations, art, food, shopping and much more. In partnership with ReedPOP––a boutique group within Reed Exhibitions and producers of New York’s ComicCon and fashion trade show Agenda––Complex and its Host Committee of experts include legendary artist Takashi Murakami, Cultural Director/Executive Chair Pharrell Williams and world-renowned electronic music producer, Skrillex.
The current lineup on night one includes Skrillex, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott and a guest DJ set by Virgil Abloh – performing on, November 5th. In addition, the daytime line up for both days will include buzzworthy performances by Little Yachty and The Sailing Team, Chief Keef (performing his first album, Finally Rich), Metro Boomin, Spark Master Tape, MadeinTYO, Tunji Ige, DJ Sliink, THEY., Cousin Stizz, Khalid, Smino, Jubilee, Chase B, Johan, and Ta’East.
Night two, November 6th, will feature a concert including a headline performance by Snoop Dogg, appearing on the mainstage in his hometown of Long Beach for the first time ever. Performers for night two will also include hip hop superstar 2 Chainz and rap trio, Migos. Attendees that have purchased or are planning to purchase a Sunday Day or Weekend Expo pass will automatically be upgraded with access to the Sunday evening concert! In addition passes for this concert will be accessible to attendees through various ways such as picking up a pass at select retail location throughout Southern California or entering one of our social media giveaways, which are soon to be announced.
ComplexCon will bring together an exclusive selection of over a hundred Pop Up Shops and brand activations to its show floor this November. Cult favorites will be debuting collaborations, launching new products and releasing exclusive drops worthy of camping out for.
Nike the sportswear megabrand is putting together a high-level experiential activation curated just for ComplexCon. At a whopping 7,500 square feet, you'll be completely immersed in their world of sneakers and apparel, the industry they've been dominating for decades.
A Bathing Ape has been Japan’s most coveted streetwear brand for over 20 years, so it only makes sense that they'd bring forth an exclusive BAPE pop-up shop to ComplexCon.
AWGE SHIT, Curated by ASAP Rocky – ASAP Rocky is to curate a unique space inside of ComplexCon under his AWGE creative collective to encompass all of his projects into one unique space.

Prolific contemporary artist Ron English will bring his famous #Popaganda to life at ComplexCon, showcasing his signature mash-up of high and low cultural touchstones. Known for flipping pop cultural icons to make subversive statements on different social messages, Ron English has worked in many different mediums, becoming one of the most recognized artists today.
Contemporary Los Angeles based artist Patrick Martinez, known for his thought provoking neon paintings and installations, will produce a special site-specific installation at ComplexCon
The First We Feast Food Zone - To supplement cultural consumption, ComplexCon will offer a mind-blowing menu of the tastiest gourmet food trucks that California has to offer, like Free Range L.A. expertly curated by First We Feast. Attendees should arrive hungry!
Panels at ComplexCon - Each day of ComplexCon will feature more than seven, intimate keynote speeches, fireside chats, and panels from some of the sharpest minds shaping popular culture today. These sessions will feature high-profile figures like A$AP Rocky, artist and architect Daniel Arsham (of Snarkitecture), designer Jon Buscemi, producer DJ Mustard, and over a dozen other top names in the fields of music, fashion, art, film, technology, and more.
